Seven Hills Farms

I first photographed these boys about 12 years ago when we were still on Broadway in Orangeville. The Overgaauw family are very hard working at their dairy  farm with over 170 cattle where everyone pitches in, you can see the close bond and fun this family has together. Despite being a modern, state of the art farm, I managed to find some cool spots and relaxing ideas. It was fun spending almost 2 hours capturing a new memory for this beautiful family. Best wishes and hope you have a wonderful trip to Holland.

Introducing high school senior portraits AKA Seniors Portraits

High school senior portraits have been very popular in the USA for many, many years now, considered a milestone and passage of life in a young adults journey through life. Now more and more Canadian photographers are proudly offering this exucisite service in Canada since we too feel it truly is a very important part of growing up. Besides, we know we will never look like this again. So we welcome you to try it out. Make an appointment with us, bring your car (if you are lucky enough to have one already), favourite musical instrament, hobby etc and lets have some fun. More Samples to follow.

Family book

We photographed Maria and Scott’s wedding  many years ago now, then their first born, Roman and what a cutie he is. Recently we documented Lorenzo’s first session and thought it would be nice to show a short story beginning with their wedding, first child to present. Here is a small excerpt from the new book.

Thunder Bay, Ontario

Last week the Association of Professional Photographers Of Ontario held their annual photographic competition in Thunder Bay. As one of the judges I flew in a few day s ahead and met up with a few really cool colleagues, Terry Hrynyk from Muskoka and Theis Bogner from Welland. We not only had a lot of fun judging together but also had fun getting out and doing some shooting for ourselves. With -46 Celsius with the wind we were never out for long but managed to get some good shots. We drove around for a couple of days and managed to try their famous Belgians donuts, captured the Sleeping Giant, visited a completely frozen Kekabeka Falls, saw some deer feeding excess grain spilled from the trains and some abstract art images that each of our unique visit was able to see. Hope you enjoy.

Sisters

This is my good friend and neighbor Krista with her sister  Carmen from Australia during her fall visit. She returned to the land down under just in time to be flooded, not fun. It was great seeing these two sisters meet up again, you can see how much they mean to one another. Hope this keeps your visit and time spent together alive a little longer. Oh! By the way, Krista is owner of Krista’s baits and bites fishing bait and supply shop in the Algonquin Highland area, so if you are looking to go ice fishing or need anything fishing make sure to check out their website.

Back to back portraits on Kennisis Lake in Haliburton’s West Guilford

We had an amazing day, it is very rare to have two portraits on the same lake on the same day. It had turned out to be a beautiful day after several wet and cold days. We captured this beautiful young family and their pets at their cttage on Kennisis Lake in West Guilford. You can see the kids energy and love for one another. Thanks for letting us capture this family memory.

First snow of the year in Haliburton made it perfect for a family portrait

We happened to have two portraits this past Saturday, both on the same lake. With the weather we’ve had lately I thought that these last two portraits may have been postponed, so I was excited when both families confirmed rain, shine or snow and funny enough, we almost had all 3 elements. We coincidentally photographed Shelley and Steve’s wedding approximately 16 years ago and when looking to update their family portrait, they decided on cottage county and found us totally by fluke. It was a pleasure re uniting with this beautiful young family.
