We have known and worked with Laurie and her family for many years, from photographing their weddings to updating their portraits. This time it was a pleasure watching 2 families come into 1, best wishes.
Fall has always been a popular time to have a family portrait taken and updated as in the case with this young family. Although most of the fall leaves are now on the ground, we can still capture the beauty of the fall season with creative use of backgrounds and lighting. I had a great time with the Ahola family on this beautiful fall day.
Not only did we have the pleasure of capturing Lindsay and Ryan’s engagement portraits but we had the chance to work with their horses. In my opinion, these are one of the most majestic animals. We spent 2 fun hours on their ranch discovering so many different opportunities, here is just one sample from many image. I have been working with horses (equestrian photography( for quite some years, even have some award winning images with couples and their horses. I am so pleased when a couple falls in love with our engagement portraits that they book their wedding with us. Congratulations! and really looking forward to your wedding.
Fall weather can be so unpredictable, it so happened to be another beautiful weekend for fall portraits. We have had the pleasure of photographing this young family since the oldest was born, how cool it is to see a young family grow. This portrait was taken in Huntsville, on a country lane way where the colours and ambiance were just perfect.
I love working with young families. These guys were so pumped and into this session that it made my job so easy. The kids were not just beautiful but so much fun to work with. Thanks for the chance to update your family memory and really glad no trains were coming. Here we ended up with a 24×36 canvas for their home which I feel will add so much warmth and joy.
Sarah and Tim will get married next summer, I had the wonderful pleasure of capturing a relaxed and fun love portrait of them at the family’s country estate. With many area to photograph, this was a great way for all of us to see how we work together especially since most of the wedding formals will be taken here too. Hope you two had as much fun as I did.
Sally was the winner of a session we donated for Canoe FM radiothon fund raiser, it was very cool meeting Sally and her pets. Sally has a beautiful spot just south of Gooderham where she really enjoys her dog. She is not a summer person, she absolutely loves winter and snow in particular as you can tell she really can’t wait for the fun white stuff to fly.
How cool would it be to wake up at the cottage to this view every moring. We love rephotographing families, we had the pleasure of meeting a past clients entire family at their cottage. It is usually apparent the quality times families spend at their retreats. This beautiful getaway on Lake Batiste near Bancroft was the latest example of tranquility. We had first worked with Karen and her family a few years ago, we had family members from as far as Calgary so how nice it is to have this wonderful keepsake for future generations.
