Mark & Lindsay are getting married.

We had the wonderful pleasure of capturing this  young couple in love who are getting married soon. We photographed their engagement portrait at our Caledon outdoor studio. Our natural outdoor studio or backyard features many natural, beautiful and rustic features including a river that runs through it, an old barn or two, rusted old cars and more. Thanks for the opportunity Lindsay and Mark, I am really looking forward to your wedding day.

Open Road 2010

Recently I had the rare opportunity of going on a 10 day (3000km) motorcycle journey through southwestern USA with 8 boys. It was an amazing experience, the scenery was breath taking and the weather also fabulous.  I appreciated the opportunity of adding to my stock image library. Its amazing how quickly complete stranger can become friends, and wonderful that some clients also became friends. Thanks for letting me room with you Ken, you don’t snore so bad :-) Quite sad though along the Mexico boarder with the constant patrol activity going on there.  Some of what I saw makes you really appreciate what we have here in Canada ;-) here is a link of our trip. open road

Growing family

Meet James, my newest cousin and new brother to Alissa and Nadia. We photographed each sister when they were just months old. James was just great, seamed to really like the camera, well his sisters really helped. Working with children is fun and unpredictable, you never really know what you are going to get. view gallerycreative children photography

Fall engagement session at Millcroft Inn

Although it has been a crazy fall with lots of rain we have had some beautiful days, our session this day was almost canceled due to rain and as it turns out we had fabulous weather. I had the pleasure of capturing Yvette and Elroy’s engagement portraits at such a beautiful location, The Millcroft Inn the colours were prime and they made it fun. They will be getting married next July at the Rattle Snake Point G&C Club. It was obvious how these two feel about each other…We spent 45 minutes together and fully explored the Millcroft Inn grounds, I was able to capture so much variety and fun images that I had a hard time choosing which one to blog…have a look. Looking forward to your wedding day.

Harley-Davidson twins….from Orangeville

The bikes that is….Over the years we have had the pleasure of photography both Paul’s daughter’s wedding and Ken kids including one more coming up next month. So naturally it was a pleasure photographing Ken and Paul together. How appropriate this was considering my own passion for 2 wheeling. They have two almost identical and equally beautiful Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This duo, annually organize a fairly large group, ship their bikes south and go for a two + week excursion through some western states, I would love to join them, hopefully this coming year. Thanks for the opportunity to take your portraits, beautiful bikes BTW.

Orangeville Family Portrait

How great it is to have the chance to capture a true 4 generational family heirloom! Here we had the opportunity to work with the Smith Family. The closeness and love for one another was very apparent….and allowed us to get this shot that I believe truly explains who they are. We had a gorgeous location to work with and a beautiful day. The hardest part was choosing which setting to work with. Thanks again for the chance to capture your family in a natural and fun way.

Meet baby Ela

One of the greatest rewards for me is having wedding clients come in later with their little ones. And then having the opportunity to both photograph them and watch them grow. I had the pleasure of meeting Ela last week, she is an absolute sweetheart and ham for the camera.

Smart and cute, She takes after her mother.
