Award winning photography

Although I earned my Masters of Photographic Arts back in 2002 and have since earned 4 Masters bars, back in February, PPO Ontario  held their annual image salon competition in Thunderbay. Below are my award winning entries. This is an important way to have your work judged by a panel of Master photographers from around Ontario, not only does it help me stay on top of styles and trends, it is most rewarding for our clients too when their images win these coveted award.

Have I mentioned how much we enjoy shooting in our wonderful cottage country. It simply lends itself to a natural and relaxed environemnt.Paige and Eric from teh Ottawa area came to see us almost a year ago at our North Studio and now their day has coem true. Despite the ill weather our specialists called for, we managed to dodge the clouds and wind ending up with an absolutley gorgeous day.Congratulations Paige and Eric, wishing you many happy years together.

Newly wed fun

We had a gorgeous day for the usual unpredictably spring time, we started in Innisfill and worked our way to downtown Toronto. Despite their limousine breaking down and crazy traffic, my cousin Catarina and Ricardo managed to get married on a beautiful spring day. We then took advantage of a small parkette and city features before heading down to the beach. Who says you have to book a park for photographs. We photographed and improvised all day without needing permits. We wish you all the best in your future and thanks for having us capture your day. You can view their wedding gallery at this link starting May 23. http://www.imagesbypaulo.com/ferreira

Toronto Wedding

Chris and Kris tie the knot on Halloween! Many of the guests wore costumes to add to the flavour of their day. I fealt like family….well after all I have had the honour of photographing each of the Topping siblings and a few weeks ago, the groom’s father on his Harly-Davidson (Check out blog down below). We had a beautiful day, very windy but it didn’t rain. A duo in the hospitality business, this was apparent by their beautiful reception and the food…well all I can say was wow! Congratulations and thanks for letting us be a part of your day.

Haliburton Family Portrait

We are truly fortunate for the chance to meet so many wonderful people from so many different areas. Over the Thanksgiving weekend we met a beautiful family from Toronto, Burlington, Michigan who have been cottaging on Grass Lake in Haliburton for many years. It was evident how this cottage brings this family together. Thanks for the opportunity to meet and capture your family’s portrait, it was a pleasure and thanks for helping us search for that elusive transmitter….
