A Fall wedding at the Terra Cotta Inn in Caledon

Fall time is perhaps the most beautiful time of year to get married. Last summer we had the privilege of photographing the McDonald family at their cottage. This is when we met Karen and Mark and had the opportunity to do a little engagement session which wonderfully lead to their wedding. They had an absolutely beautiful day fall a fall wedding in Caledon, at the Terra Cotta Inn. Congratulation!

Caledon Country Golf Club Wedding

It was a beautiful day for a country wedding.  Depsite the incredible temperatures, we manages to complete the photos and head into the reception just before the heavens opened with thunder and lightning…Rina and the girls, all dressed in traditional colours looked amazing, Jp and his friends from France, all being musicians played live music for their guests and sounded great. Congratulations and best wishes for a long future together.

Rewarding comments

We love receiving nice comments, often the stress we experience during weddings is not quite understood. Although weddings can be a lot of fun and the images reflect the romance and all the hard work that went into planning, most don’t see nor understand the backroom work that goes into telling these beautiful stories. The following is a letter I received from the mother of the groom from a recent wedding…

“Dear Jose:
I wanted to send you a note to thank you once again for taking such incredible photography for Katie’s and Michael’s wedding and for being such a good friend to all of us.
I know that both Katie and Michael appreciate all that you did to make their day so special. You went beyond our expectations as our friend and as a wonderful photographer.
We also wanted to thank you for your kindness in preparing the photos at such short notice for Katie’s father’s funeral. It has been extremely difficult these last few months for our families and you have been so kind and understanding. The stress had taken it’s toll on me with the passing of my sister and I know I was not myself, however you were a wonderful friend by being patient with me. I will always be grateful for your kindness, Joe.
I know that Katie will send you a note to express her gratitude for the beautiful album. We will cherish the memories of their wedding day through your eyes and photography.
Love always, Connie and Gary and family xoxoxox”

Family book

We photographed Maria and Scott’s wedding  many years ago now, then their first born, Roman and what a cutie he is. Recently we documented Lorenzo’s first session and thought it would be nice to show a short story beginning with their wedding, first child to present. Here is a small excerpt from the new book.

Jaime and Robert got married at the Caledon Golf Club

We met Jaime and robert over a year ago, we have had a great time getting to know each other. Their engagement portrait was alot of fun. It is a pleasure watching young love flourish. We had the most perfect fall day for a country wedding and the staff at the Caledon Country Golf Club made everything look so good. This is a wonderful location for a wedding offering tranquility, sweeping tree covered driveways, historical buildings and old barns and of course an amazing golf course, truly a photographers dream. Best wishes Jaime & Robert, see you soon.

We had the pleasure of capturing Shawna and Nick’s wedding day. Despite the threat of rain we managed to get everything photographed outdoors. The reception at the Liberty Grand was stunningly elegant. Best wishes.

Beautiful wedding in Oakville

Lindsay and Mark tied the knot on Sept 25th. They had a beautiful day and looked absolutely gorgeous, we had a lot of fun with the entire wedding party. Especially the last minute decision to go to the downtown area for some cool urban shots. We even took a short detour to Lake Ontario and made it back to the limo just in time to miss the rain. Their reception at the Rattlesnake G/C was spectacular as always. Best wishes. Lindsay and Mark’s wedding gallery can be viewed here.
