Winter portraits can be so much fun

I believe we are blessed living in Canada for so many reasons especially because we get to enjoy four beautiful seasons. We had the pleasure of capturing the Scognamillo family while the grandparents were here visiting from England, they came to us by referral. Here are a couple of samples of a beautiful winter day. Winter time portrait can add a cozy and warm effect to any living space. We are proudly creating a 30×40 inch portrait for their living space along with a few other wall portraits to add family spirit to their living space.

 Orangeville family photographer

I just love working with family groups and all the new people I get to meet. We captured these portraits plus many more fun combinations of this family when they all got together for grandma’s 80th birthday at the Millcroft Inn. We had a beautiful day and the entire family were all really into the portrait session as it shows  by their expressions. Thanks for teh chance to meet your family and capture such a treasure.

Orangeville Family Portrait

Siblings……….It has been just a pleasure photographing the Blydorp family, I am not sure when we first met but I know the youngest was …well very, very young. Look at them all now and all so very nice. Thanks for the chance of updating your family and watching you grow into young adults.

Haliburton Family Portrait

We are truly fortunate for the chance to meet so many wonderful people from so many different areas. Over the Thanksgiving weekend we met a beautiful family from Toronto, Burlington, Michigan who have been cottaging on Grass Lake in Haliburton for many years. It was evident how this cottage brings this family together. Thanks for the opportunity to meet and capture your family’s portrait, it was a pleasure and thanks for helping us search for that elusive transmitter….

Harley-Davidson twins….from Orangeville

The bikes that is….Over the years we have had the pleasure of photography both Paul’s daughter’s wedding and Ken kids including one more coming up next month. So naturally it was a pleasure photographing Ken and Paul together. How appropriate this was considering my own passion for 2 wheeling. They have two almost identical and equally beautiful Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This duo, annually organize a fairly large group, ship their bikes south and go for a two + week excursion through some western states, I would love to join them, hopefully this coming year. Thanks for the opportunity to take your portraits, beautiful bikes BTW.

Young and free spirited.

We know that the young have a lot of energy and beat to the own drum so when we had the opportunity to capture this young family’s portrait we had to work quickly. So often children dictate how the session will go as we see here, we captured the true essence of who they are now to be remembered forever. Thanks for the chance to capture your young family.

Loon lake Family Portrait in Haliburton, Ontario

The joy of a young family.

It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to capture this young family at their cottage. The kids were absolutely beautiful and great…. and cooperated perfectly for the camera, full of energy and life, I could feel and see how at home they were here and how much fun they have. It is wonderful watching kids be kids and playing in the water. Oh! and all the grand kids by grandmas rock……Crazy and unforgettable! Thank you for the opportunity and letting us into your life.

Back to school portraits

It was a blast meeting this diverse family, they are outdoorsy and love everything outdoors, this is apparent in their many passions and pursuits, from horse riding, soccer, fishing, sailing, gardening and dirt biking. Their home on a infinite number of acres (Farm) was a shooters dream it had everything from a natural fishing pond, old laneways, meadows, horses, wow! This was teh perfect setting since alkl of teh kids were born to this home.  I couldn’t kept going. Fun and natural, I think we captured the spirit of the family as the two oldest head off to University in Halifax and Niagara. Thanks for teh opportunity, it was a pleasure meeting the whole family.

Orangeville Family Portrait

We had the pleasure of working with this beautiful young family before back to school. Everyone looked great and were all in great spirits. Who says portraits have to have people looking at the camera or be stiff, I love trying to capture the true essence of individuals and their family connections, here is an example of a relaxed a fun family group that will be turned into an artist decor piece. I truly enjoyed this session, it was great meeting the Leers.  Thank you for the opportunity to capture your family at such a wonderful stage.

Orangeville family portrait

We had a rainy day for this Orangeville portrait session, photographed much of it indoors. Since it was just a drizzle at this point we quickly ran outside for this grouping. Love the interaction and expressions.
