Family portrait updated

We have been photographing the Pucci family and children since Francseco was just months old. Every few years this young family comes in for an update. It has been a great pleasure watching them grow from little tykes to young adults. Kiara was always beautiful and with such a nice personality. I will never forget when she was around 6years old, they came into the studio full of excitement and smiles and gave me her bag of skittles as a little gift. They now seem so grown up, mature and beautiful. It is always a pleasure working with families like the Pucci’s.

Family book

We photographed Maria and Scott’s wedding  many years ago now, then their first born, Roman and what a cutie he is. Recently we documented Lorenzo’s first session and thought it would be nice to show a short story beginning with their wedding, first child to present. Here is a small excerpt from the new book.

Sisters

This is my good friend and neighbor Krista with her sister  Carmen from Australia during her fall visit. She returned to the land down under just in time to be flooded, not fun. It was great seeing these two sisters meet up again, you can see how much they mean to one another. Hope this keeps your visit and time spent together alive a little longer. Oh! By the way, Krista is owner of Krista’s baits and bites fishing bait and supply shop in the Algonquin Highland area, so if you are looking to go ice fishing or need anything fishing make sure to check out their website.

Back to back portraits on Kennisis Lake in Haliburton’s West Guilford

We had an amazing day, it is very rare to have two portraits on the same lake on the same day. It had turned out to be a beautiful day after several wet and cold days. We captured this beautiful young family and their pets at their cttage on Kennisis Lake in West Guilford. You can see the kids energy and love for one another. Thanks for letting us capture this family memory.

First snow of the year in Haliburton made it perfect for a family portrait

We happened to have two portraits this past Saturday, both on the same lake. With the weather we’ve had lately I thought that these last two portraits may have been postponed, so I was excited when both families confirmed rain, shine or snow and funny enough, we almost had all 3 elements. We coincidentally photographed Shelley and Steve’s wedding approximately 16 years ago and when looking to update their family portrait, they decided on cottage county and found us totally by fluke. It was a pleasure re uniting with this beautiful young family.

Fun and Creative family Portraits

We had the chance to capture this young family at our Outdoor Caledon  studio. It was a little cool but overall beautiful weather. The best time of day for us is just before the sun goes down. My goal is to capture fun, relaxed yet story telling images that can be artistically displayed. Every family is unique and so we must capture fun and original images that represent the style of each client.

The Mcdonalds on Koshlong Lake

We had the pleasure of meeting the McDonalds at their cottage for their family portrait. We had a great time creating relaxed and fun images on Koshlong Lake and dodging the rain and working around the wind sort of speak. We had two sessions this day and both times the skies threatened rain and both times we just missed it. We actually had beautiful light  and and a great day, wow I love cottage country.

And a beautiful engaged couple.

Soyers Lake cottage portrait

I have to admit I am a little behind on our blog posts, but we have been photographing so many cottage portraits. I want to thank all of our clients, it has been an amazing summer. We have only been marketing our cottage portraits for a few years now including participation in the Haliburton Home Show twice now and the response is overwhelming and much appreciated. My wife and I truly enjoy creating some beautiful memories of families best times usually spent at the cottage. Here we had the opportunity to capture the Thompsons at play and enjoying their own beautiful retreat.

A future lawyer with many talents.

He had the pleasure of photographing Alayna as we did with her sister several years ago. Alayna is studying in Halifax to be a lawyer, but she also plays the guitar. Wish I could do that. Best of luck in your carreer.
